Repairs are undertaken on equestrian items and other leather items,
including dog collars and leads, belts, shooting equipment, bags etc. If you require a
quote for a repair, then please ring me on 01234 721075 or 07733 106641.
Well-made and well-fitting tack can have its useful life extended by sympathetic
repairing as well as regular cleaning. Every time, a bridle or leather girth is used,
it loses some of its fat content due to the heat and sweat from the horse. This results
in the leather becoming dry and brittle. So, every time you clean your tack,
check over the stitching and any weak points.
Well looked after, supple leather has a lesser chance of breaking in normal use than neglected leather. |

Although we have sponsors that provide most of our tack, we still need things repairing.
We came across Lynsey in March 2007 & since then we have found that all of the repairs
that have been undertaken are of a high standard & we are completely satisfied with
the work that she does for us.

We have known Lynsey for a number of years now and have always been very impressed with
her professionalism, understanding along with her ability to create, design and produce
a number of different items. These include new elastic on an atherstone girth,
reins, belt and a made to measure head collar. We have felt that Lynsey works
in a timely manner and has an excellent quality standard that has been good value
for money.

I discovered Lynsey and her fabulous leatherwork about three years ago and will not ask
anyone else to make bridles for my horses. Lynsey will always use the highest quality
leather and her stitch work is some of the best I have seen. Not only is the quality of her work exceptional (her awards speak volumes) but she is a pleasure to do business with as she is always approachable and ready with advice. Lynsey always helps me to work out which bridle will suit my horses asthetically as well as designing a bridle which will improve thier way of going - this is extremely helpful when you are chasing high marks in affilliated dressage!
